ABSTRACT
The environment that provides for young people in the first half of their lives deserves to take what it needs from them in the second half of their lives. In the same logical context, an environment that belittles their potential and deprives them of the needs for their personal and behavioral development during the first half of life automatically deprives them of their potential in the future, due to the obvious fact that their development is impaired and the resulting lack of personal adjustment and uncivil behavior in dealing with it.
Thus, we emphasize to society and its institutions that they should exert greater honest efforts in fulfilling their educational, cultural, psychological, and material duties toward young people, through what we call preventive education. This will save them enormous efforts and costs in remedial education for their weak personal compatibility and uncivil behavior. This is a lesson that developing Arab countries should truly heed to, as they seek to overcome the various dilemmas that hinder their survival and progress.
In eight chapters, the book presents the concepts and foundations of personal compatibility and civic behavior, followed by procedures for maintaining or remediating them when they are flawed or deficient.
